I have one from Big Briar. It's got a great sound to it, but my sense of pitch leaves much to be desired most of the time. To just make noise, they're easy. But to really play something, it's really difficult and takes a lot of practice. I wish I could play something in church with the theremin, just to freak people out.

Send a message via AIM to Rainer.
I know a shop in Seattle that carries 'em. I know that doesn't help you.

I'd rather play an Ondes Martenot.

Since there's no concrete frame of reference, they're really tough to play. But if you can master it, the sound is like nothing else.

sorry all of my replies are dated! I just got into the forum thing here. Anyways, I just built mine (not too hard). I got a kit from Theremax.com Its pretty cool! Only $170 (pretty good for ANY instrument!)
