I have it and use it (or rather... I have an AIM account, but I refuse to use the AIM program itself).

If people would just start using GTalk, things would be much better.

AIM (tm) is bloated crapware, at least the last version I used was.

Gaim is much nicer. Open source (free), cross platform (Windows/Linux), tabbed IMing, handles popular IM protocols (AIM, Yahoo, etc).

Nope. Don't care to. The last version I used ruined the AIM name for me (v. 5?).

Besides, I don't use Windows, so I'd have to go through the trouble of running the junk through Wine or something.
