Definitely Spider-Man. Far more interesting a character than the Spectre. His powers, his costume, his motivations, his personality...all fantastic. Great character. It would be a crime if he lost to the Spectre here.

I don't see Spectre revolutionizing anything.

I would rather see Spectre pull an upset. Spidy has his moments, I just don't personally like him. Yes, he's interesting and his conflicts are a great story. It's all a matter of personal position.

I have to admit, technically the Spectre is much more interesting. But Spidey is so well liked and easy to relate with in some ways. (I find it sad how the movie actually dumbed down Peter a lot. I mean, yeah, he can throw out words and all, but he's supposed to be on par with other scientists. I wish they'd develop that more) I'm voting for Spidey here, his comics as of late have been great. But let me say it here that they are seriously picking some LAME LAME LAME villains for the movies. Come on, Doc Oc? Sandman? Give me a break.

There won't be a lot of character you could put up against Spidey that would make me give a seconds thought to voting against what I consider the greatest super hero in any comic universe. Spidey is probably the best.

Doctor Octopus and Sandman are excellent villains. What's wrong with them?

Doc Oct's power is that he has four metalic arms? Gunshot to the face.

Sandman? His power is sand? HAHAHA

I'm sorry, but their premise is just so... 1950's. By today's standards they should not cut it. Green Goblin was really a good choice, but while I think the writers of Spidey 2 did a good job for the movie, I still can't see the guy with all the fat hanging over his straps as a decent villain. He might as well just be a mad genius who constructed himself a "super suit" only any yahoo with a gun should be able to kill this one.

It's not about the powers, man, it's about the characters.

The movie did a much better job at developing his character than the comics ever did. He was totally lame in the comics, at least I found him interesting in the movie.

I do not doubt that the writers will do a fantastic job with sandman, but still, they picked some truly lame villains from the comics, regardless of whether or not they make them better.

They seem to be going somewhat chronologically, interesting.

I liked Batman Begins, if that counts for anything.
