Google around and see if you can find Eusebius' description. It's hilarious.

How about taking Church Father's names for your own?

John Roberson - Definately would have to be one of the great doctors of the Church. And a very linguistically gifted one at that. I would vote for a namechange to "Chrysostom".

+Donny - That one is easy. You'd be "St. Augustine", having moved in from a weird cultish heresy group. Plus, you have a concubine.

Vershal - How about Anselm of Canterbury?

Dr. Worm - You definately get to be Origen. Origen was a searcher and inquirer.

Church Fathers weren't hedonists. They had nothing to be happy about. They kept getting killed and castrating themselves.

You should name yourself after one of the band members in Spinal Tap (I always saw you as Nigel)... but add a Chipotle reference.

Everyone knows that there is an unbroken chain of Baptists stretching from Christ to the present, ending with Al Mohler -- not John Piper, as many have been decieved into believing.

Okay, I have an important question. Since Kelly and I will be off of work for Spring Break, we are probably going to take a trip to Nashville. We will go near or through these cities/towns:

Houston
Tyler
Shreveport
Little Rock
Memphis
Nashville

So, basically we take 59, I-30, and I-40.

This will be something like March 12-17. Do any of you live on or near this route? Can we either stay with or hang out with you?

(Bryan, the Metroplex is a bit out of the way but it's possible if we have enough spare time to make it out there. Let me know if you're free.)

Let me know,

John

Did any of the early church fathers have a passion for lasagna and boobies?

If so...that's who I am.

You have to earn your way into my blog/favor by choosing to use your powers of observation in a righteous manner.

I'm afraid that my blog may be disenchanted. Even ruby slippers can't call him here...

That's a given in our house.
