#1 | | Banned | Artemis Fowl - Eoin Colfer (merged) This is generally marked as just a children's book. But I would suggest trying it out. It is actually quite well written and enjoyable. Character development is superb and the plot is quite unique despite it being about such common themes. |

| As someone who's read all five books (yeah, I"m a nut for kids books), I'd recommend them as good fast paced fun with a lot of cool techno gagets I mean they aren't exactly Tolkien but they're a lot of fun to read. The first one is the best.

| Yeah, there are five books plus a companion book out. They are, in chronilogical order: Artemis Fowl The Artic Incident The Eternity Code The Opal Deception The Lost Colony
The companion book is called The Artemis Fowl Files.
I enjoy them. I think they are well written and have followed their release since reading the first one a couple of months after its US release.

I mean, we both like Bernard Cornwall's writing, the Redwall series, Atermis Fowl, and I'm sure many others. |

#8 | | Moderator | Man, I almost started this thread myself!
I've read them all, and they are seriously awesome! The newest one was a little weird....even for Artemis Fowl books But I read them around once a year.....I personally liked the Eternity Cube best.
