Brave Sir Robin!

Our Myspace. Check it.

Anyways... Yeah... We're Brave Sir Robin. The demo we have up now sucks. But seriously, I'm gonna record one tonight that hopefully wont suck, but I'm sick so no promises. Anyways... We're just guys having fun, singing about some stuff we care about, and some stuff we don't. But don't hold our demo against us just yet, because that was a super rough recording... So if you're gonna hate us, hate us when we actually do some serious recording with the whole band. Also, BTW, check our our blog entry, it explains some things...

Also, btw, you all know me but let me introduce the rest of the band.

Justin, as seen in the pic on the myspace, is our drummer and backup vocalist, and he also plays some bass.
Josh plays Bass, Guitar, Sax, and oh yeah, bass.
Daniel, or the cow plays Guitar, Bass, and Piano. (we are probably gonna move him to piano almost full time though.)
AX, me of course, Sings lead, plays lead guitar on most songs, and plays bass and piano when needed.

I added a new demo of just me and my guitar. I like it, but just remember, it wont sound anything like the demo when It's finished...

Ha, everyone plays bass

I think you guys have a lot of potential, especially on "Hiding." A full band will definitely help but mainly the songs just need to be tightened up around the edges as you kind of already mentioned. Other than that it's all pretty good.

Well... both songs were only demos... I recorded the Hiding demo by myself and it was only Justin and I on McRibs.. However neither of those are the titles of the songs... the titles are "Hiding behind your own Shadow" and "This is Not the Big and Tasty"...

We have a full lineup... Josh is our actual bassist but on a few songs he has some sax parts so Dan and I are taking over for him then because we both play guitar... Dan sometimes plays piano and there is one song we're working on that I can't sing and play lead guitar at the same time so I'm taking bass and Josh will be playing on that one, as of right now... Justin only plays bass on demo recordings, however he's probably the best bassist of all of us, but he's an even more amazing drummer...

I haven't listened to anything you've posted anywhere (56k sucks). But, from what I've read, your "This Is Not The Big And Tasty", is great and the satire that is "Which came first the Chicken or the Egg", is just phenomenal. So. Good luck guys. (By the way, I just requested your Myspaceness.)

Thanks, and I confirmed you...

Well, we are scheduled for our first practice with everybody on thursday... Hopefully we can get about 4 new songs written and one cover (We're thinking 'My Own Worst Enemy' by Lit) practiced and ready in two weeks... That's when our friends who are big on the local scene get back and will be playing again and Justin said that they wanted to work with us... hopefully I'll be well by then cause I'm still sick... I'm also gonna try and get the rest of the band on CGR, just because....

BTW, the whole everybody plays bass thing is a joke. I actually never play bass in any song... Justin only played it for that crappy recording... and there's just one point where we wanted Josh to play sax and either Dan or I was gonna play bass for that song, but I think we're cutting the sax and just making Josh full time bassist...

Our new drummer's name is Torrey and we played with him today and he's good. We have some new photos and stuff on myspace so check it out.

we're laying down new tracks tomorrow... as much as we can... I can't say how much we'll get done but the drums and the keys will be done definitely tomorrow as Thursdays are the only days we're all available...

Well... we have the drums and bass parts to two songs... the two demos that are on our myspace... Daniel couldn't make it so we're waiting on his key tracks... I suppose I could go ahead and do the guitars but the vocals will have to wait... I want him to come over Sunday and do them if he can... then Justin and I will add the vocals and I'll mix and master and then we should have two official songs... then we're gonna practice a new song on Tuesday, depending on who can be there... I gotta learn the words to them... but we ran through it once today... I have two sets of lyrics written but no music to go to them...
