| Normally I would complain about there not being a "cave", but this is a topic I actually like.
Medium rare. There's got to be some blood still in a steak for it to taste right. |

| Sadly enough, most of my tables prefer their steaks to be in the well-extra well range. I hate it, not only does it make their food take longer, the steaks look horrible. |

| steak is what we had for our "romantic" dinner last week. We got t-bones, though.
pinkish middle, maybe just a bit charred on the outside... mmm. think I'm going to start drooling.

| Medium. I don't like the texture of medium rare or rare steak... Nor do I like the texture of overly done steak.

| I usually don't try to go beyond a medium-rare with steaks, because the texture of them is so finicky. Since I don't like pink beef and have yet to find a place that could keep a fully cooked steak moist and delicious, I simply avoid steak.
That and I'm just not a big meat fan.

| I used to have mine well done, but it got to where I couldn't get a well done steak that wasn't too dry. So.........I had to drop to medium well and hope the pink is barely there.
I'm one of those who doesn't like my steak being able to possibly moo back at me while I try and eat it. |

| Medium-rare ftw. As juicy as it gets without being able to moo. (:
