| My favorite is more toward the rare side of medium-rare, I'd say. I like some "crusting" on the outside from a good hot sear, though. I become despondent when I see a steak cooked to brown all the way through.
My venison steaks I usually cook medium-rare, but more to the medium side of that. I think that's partially because I want to make sure anything funny in the meat actually does get cooked. Venison steaks are difficult to cook right, though, because they cook so fast.

| I prefer it to be either medium well or medium with the occasional well thrown in there now and again.

| This option isn't on the poll, but I like it "Pittsburgh style". You cook it on high for a short amount of time, so it is charred on the outside but still really pink on the inside. Not many restaurants know how to cook that, though. |

| So most places I go to, I get Medium. Except your Medium Rare is the same as everyone else's Medium..... if I ever go to your place, I'll remember to get Medium Rare. |

| Well-done please. I am afraid that if not thoroughly cooked, then whatever disease that goes around with these cows will get through to me. Pink and bloody really looks raw. But you folks enjoy the flavour.
