Django Reinhardt
I'm surprised there isn't a thread about Django Reinhardt already. Reinhardt, a Belgian gypsy, was a great jazz guitarist, despite the fact that he could only use two fingers on his left hand to fret notes.

Many top guitarists have learned from Django. There are even special Django festivals many places. Akureyri, a town of 15,000 in the north of Iceland has an annual Django Jazz festival for almost a week in August every year. Great music!

Sweet and Lowdown is an excellent movie featuring Sean Penn who is the second greatest jazz guitarist in the world. Everytime he meets Django he faints or goes crazy.

And yes, Reinhardt is just incredible.
