As to Musicians Friend, Presby, and the others:

I agree it is tough to beat a lot of MF deals. I have also used American Musical Supply, www.americanmusical.com

They have also had a lot of smoking deals.

Also, no Guitar Center stores around.

Presby, you are correct in your calculations. For the sale prices thru the store, I saved around $265. My $800 original quote was from the wrong prices.

But, I still am not questioning the will of God.

Praise be to Him when I read all of these testimonies of blessings!!

A quick anecdote. I live in the mountains. Essentially a lot of rock. Christ said that if we weren't willing to praise, that the rocks would cry out. I love praising........loudly. Not gonna see what a bunch of loudly crying rocks could do!!!
