Even if we could squeeze a wedding in there'd be no time for any kind of honeymoon and it would just be a lot more stressful.
And this May is way too soon as far as planning goes.

| Update Hey everyone,
Just a few updates... - Our new date is May 10, 2008. The reception hall we wanted was booked for the 16th but open on the 10th, so the 10th it is!
- We begin premarital counseling tomorrow with a "premarital inventory" worksheet.
- Our first idea for a honeymoon is driving down to the Gatlinburg, TN area and spending 4 nights in a private cabin, complete with fireplace, deck, and hot tub! Then we'll drive to Washington, D.C. for two nights and do the tourist-y stuff there, then drive back home.
- The other idea is something tropical (Caribbean). My parents are in some kind of network where they earn points to redeem at various condos all over the world, and they are willing to donate some of those points to us to spend in a place we wouldn't otherwise be able to afford.
I'll keep you all posted!

#20 | | baby vending machine | Note for the DC part of the trip: Hotels in the Washington area are lower rates over the weekends and higher through the week (boost it up for the business travellers who have no choice). So if you can swing that being Friday, Saturday you'll get better rates than you would on say a Wednesday.

| My dad can actually get us a FREE hotel room in DC because of his buisness. So that sounds kindof good too haha
We like the tropical idea because it's something we've never done and probably won't be able to do again any time soon.
We're excited!
