Exclamation HELP!

I accidently lost my pick in my guitar, and I think it's stuck, cause I can't hear it! I think I heard it last night, but I've tried everything to get it out, from banging to bottom on the floor, to gettin another pick and playing, to see if I can loosen it, no luck.

And when I pick the third string from the top, it makes a wierd, jacked up noises. So I'm thinkin, I dunno, it make be stck under the neck, but I dunno.

Umm...what? Is it an electric or accoustic?

DEFINATELY DON'T BANG THE BOTTOM ON THE FLOOR!!

If it's stuck in the soundhole of an accoustic just shake it around until the pick is right in the center under the sound hole and then flip it over real quick. Or just turn it upside down (where the sound hole is facing the ground) and shake till it comes out.

If it's an electric....congratulations I think you're the first person that's lost a pick on an electric guitar.

The other option, of course, would be to loosen the strings and reach in there and dig around for it.

You could just leave it in there.

Ahem...Attached are some pics of electrics in which a pick could easily get stuck in:

It would take one heck of an accident to have a pick land in an F-hole. To whomever has witness that: I congratulate you.

Maybe that has something to do with banging it.

Loosen all of the strings enough to move them out of the way and stick your hand in there to try and remove the pick.

This is not brain surgery we're talking about here.

That almost happened to me. Key word: Almost. 'Twould have sucked massively to have actually dropped it in.

Not really. It didn''t necessarily happen while she was playing, right? Is it that hard to imagine a guitar sitting in it's case (face up), and you drop a pick in?

From my post, I wasn't trying to say that it happened while a person was playing.
