Well, I'm definitely advising her not to see him for a while, preferably until she gets back from her Europe trip in July, although I'm still holding onto the talking part since they live a ridiculous distance from each other.

Thanks for the perspectives on everything - what you all have said has pretty much been the consensus among everybody except me and my parents. Things are pretty much set in stone, though, and if I changed my mind it wouldn't do much. I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for the sort of dangers everyone's pointed out, and she's said that if he tries anything then they definitely aren't speaking for multiple months.

You say and if he tries? Why not even give him the chance? Wait till you know he's not gona try anything, then let them talk. I dunno, I don't think it's wise because he might try something, and despite her best intentions, she may fall for him again.
