First off ide like to say that i really didnt know where to put this tread, so i decided it would go well in here. So im goin through this life issue right now, for the second time. We've all been there... heart break. When i say the second time, i mean second time with the same person. I may have been setting myself up for this one, I dont know. Im not writing this to try and get advice from people, im not trying to get people to feel sorry for me, although any sympathy would be greatly appreciated. Im posting this to give other people advice, not in dating or any of that, but what to do when you have had your heart broken. So, one of my absolute favorite bands is Falling Up. Anyone who has heard them can agree with me that they are an incredible band, that is completely spirit driven. Well a little over a year ago i was introduced to their music and i instantly fell in love. not soon after i started listening to their music, i was heart broken, very badly. While in the middle of this heart break a song from falling ups first cd cought my attention, oddly enough titled broken heart. so i started listening to it, then i would rewind and listen to it again, and again, and again. within the first week of discovering this song, i had probably listened to it a good 100 times, no joke. The thing that was so good about this song was not because it sounded cool or because it was just titled broken heart so i figured i would listen to it. What made this song so amazing is that it really made me realize that God is always there for me, through thick and thin. He is the only one that can truly heal your broken heart. This song isnt just words to shout out, its a plee to God asking for help while in probably the worst state that you can posibly be in. I dont know about anyone else, but being broken hearted is possibly the worst feeling that I have ever felt in my entire life. And to go through it more then once in a lifetime is a pain that i would wish on no one. But no matter what kinda heart ache you go through, God is always your healer, your savior, your deliverer, and your redeemer. Now i didnt need to hear a song to know that he is always there for me, but the way that Falling Up wrote it and sang it just really hit me hard. That last line says it best, "My broken heart is so in need". You cant hide anything from God, but when you admit that you need help, that is when the healing can begin. So thats what i did, I admited to God that I was desperately in need, and you know what he did, he came through for me and completely healed me of my broken heart. It was an absolute miracle. I experienced Gods garce first hand, and it was just what everyone had made up to be, amazing. Another great thing about Falling Up is that all of their songs are influenced by a scripture verse. This particulare one has now become my favorite verse. It goes like this, "Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds." Such a simple verse packed so full of power. Through listening to Falling Up so much, I have also been hugely impacted by many of their other songs as well. Songs like Falling In Love, Ambience, and Arafax Deep have all been reminders to me of how amazing and forgiving and graceful God is.

Earlier i said that i was heart broken for the second time. Well the first time God completely healed my broken heart, and completely healed my relationship with this certain someone. Healed it so well in fact that we became best friends, and almost more. So its now over a year later and wouldnt you know it, its happening again. Its not the same thing this time, it hasent quite gotten as bad yet, its still in the early stages. I already feel so bad, and it hasnt even gotten close to as bad as i could get. Well I guess we will have to see what kinda miracles God works in my life this time. So in the end, if I can give you any advice, its this; first, listen to falling up, and apply their lyrics to your life, you will be pleasently surprised at how much they can help you. And two, God is amazing. He is going to be the one that will always be there for you in any situation, and even though you may not feel it right away, He will heal you, and He will protect you as his child. God loves each and every one of you, and that is a love that will last forever.
