A little project..

So, I have a little band thingy, which is called An Attempt to Hide. Dumb name, but the other guys like it. Yes, we are losers. We used Church Sign Generator to make our profile picture.. *hangs head*.

Anways, we've got one song up which is rough, but it actually turned out better than we expected. Just some guitar some vocals.

A little news. We've been writing and practicing. We still don't have a bass player that is committed to anything, so I will doing the bass for upcoming tracks. Bass isn't really my thing, so don't expect anything special.

Hopefully soon, we'll be getting 3 or 4 new tracks up. We're recording the songs for our attempt at making an album. As we're still deciding what style direction we want to head in, we're going to try something. Our album is going to be more of 2 EPs all pushed onto one disc. We all have creative differences. One guy wants a more hardcore punk/metal sound, while I'd like to go for a sound something like Mae. So, half the tracks are going to have a more hardcore/punk feel to it while the other half are going to have a more indie flavoured rock.

Also, the drummer is finally thinking are band name is stupid so we might end up changing it. Which would be lovely.

Updates. We scrapped the album idea. Stupid, stupid plan, so we're heading into something completely different. We're going to go for a more garage rock/post-hardcore sound. The new songs are almost finished and should be up soon, hopefully. If all goes well this week, we should have at least 2 new tracks. Also, with the loss of members, we're gonna sound a little different than most bands, and it doesn't really matter to us.

and maybe you should cut down on the vocal FX this time
