Check out Perpetual Groove, Umphrey's McGee, Soulive, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Animal Liberation Orchestra, Yonder Mountain String Band, Rusted Root, Calexico, Outformation, Smokestack, and Keller Williams.

Lots of good stuff on there. All artists have consented to allowing their shows to be posted for free. I know longer need to purchase albums. Instead, I spend the money actually going to shows.

While you're at it, get some Lettuce and Papa Grows Funk. Two of the best funk bands out there right now.

http://www.f4kin-up.net/ has a load of free, and legal pearl jam songs. They're legal because pearl jam encourages free distribution of taped music.

If you like modern jazz (with a New Orleans flair!) check out Astral Project on Archive, get the 2006-11-11 show, swanky stuff. Besides, their drummer is the greatest thing to come out of New Orleans since gumbo.

The first two indie EPs from Lee Bozeman's All Things Bright and Beautiful has been put online at his permission. Recorded between 2001 and 2003, they give some very different sounds to the album tracks and some excellent songs not featured on Love and Affection.
