My church's drama team does "Human Videos" where we act out a song. With meaning and everything like that. I've seen it done to Red -"Breathe Into Me", Evanescene - "Bring Me To Life" (done with Reggie Dabb's team!), Uhm. And more that I an't remember. But, the one we're doing now is, Casting Crowns - "Set Me Free". They don't say anything, they just sing along with the song and then act out, their interpretation of it. We have a nice group of my dear friends (We're doing it for a Fine Arts Festival).. And since I'm graduated, I cannot be in it for F.A. And so, Garry, who's coreographing and making the ideas has pulled me in for support and my ideas with my acting background. So Just wondering. Who's heard of this type of Performing Arts? and who's heard the song and has any helping ideas?.. Right now. We're going with my friend as the main person, singing. And then the cast surrounding him as demons, and portraying what is sung. And, well. I was just hoping people had some ideas.

I was Jesus in front of like 3,000 people once, doing a skit like that. We did it to Thief by Third Day, which ran into another song that I can't remember.

My church does that! We call them "musi-skits". Nah, I don't really have any general ideas...just depends on the song. They usually act out the song, or they relate the song to a story.

i do that with my church also. well, we mostly do dances but we act out songs sometimes. we've done 'sheep and the goats' by keith green. it's delightfully fun. and i've seen 'breath into me' by red and the evanesance one too. most likely not the same one though. =]

Yeah, our church's youth group does human vidoes sometimes, but we haven't in a while. We're trying to get the team back together, but it's hard. Even so, Fine Arts is already over for our district, so we wouldn't be able to participate for Human Video anyway. Is anybody on this board going to Nationals this year?
