ok so you wouldn't get exact tone...but you can get pretty close with the amps he uses....on meant to live at least in the music video orange heads are used....

me too. Jon uses Vox.

Well, in May 2004, their engineer said:

He changed in 2006 he went from vox to a top hat to an orange back to the vox, he again is with the vox i watchted about videos of them in the past month its a vox trust me

the real setup "confirmed"
les paul>fulltone fulldrive 2>AC30(on recording, live he now uses top hat). from the horses mouth. this is for JOHN's guitar tone. there are 3 different guitars playing w/ different tones on the recording but w/ this u will get what your looking for.
