for painting class we have to make our own paint for a project. we need 3 pigments and 3 binders. I have absolutely no clue where to start looking, so does anyone have any suggestions?

none.
It's a college level course so I didn't really expect any. He told us glue was a good binder but that's it. The whole point was to find out what made paint work and to experiment. I ended up using Kool-Aid & corn syrup, red pepper & lemon juice, and green sugar & cleaning solution.
The Kool-Aid came out awesome, it had a really glossy finish and evened out nicely.
