They have a new song up on their Myspace: "Lie To Me".
Their new album is gonna be released August 19th and will be entitled "Anthem for the Underdog".

EDIT: It sounds like they're going mainstream.

They have another single on iTunes. I like it less than "Lie To Me". I really don't like what I've heard so far.

Haven't they always been mainstream? I can see how this song is more likely to get played on both rock/alternative stations and pop stations, but I didn't think it was really all that big of a change of direction from their past material.

Further away from their roots it is. They were hardcore band. They've softened up to Pop/Rock.

I don't think I've heard anything from them that I'd classify as hardcore. I guess the guy screamed at the beginning of "Broken," but they've always done mid-tempo rockers with clean verses and distorted catchy choruses.

Broken wasn't nearly their heaviest song. Their whole first album was pretty much hardcore.

I have Crash, Open Your Eyes, Fade Away, Running Out of Pain, Broken, In MY Head and The Way I Feel on my computer. Every single one of these songs has clean picked verses and big loud choruses. Some of them, like Broken, have occasional screams, but none of them have a screaming chorus. I don't think I've heard the other 5 songs on the CD, but I wouldn't call any of these 7 songs hardcore.

How are you defining hardcore?

The new CD comes out next Tuesday. I've heard it and it's very good, almost on the level of the first CD in terms of quality. I'm seeing them live next Thursday. Anyone else going to catch a show on the tour?

All I can say is that their first album seems hardcore compared to what I've heard so far from their new cd. I can't name a song that is radio-friendly off their S/T.
