| What's The best job You've ever held? Doesn't matter how long you worked there, doesn't matter how much you made, what was the best job you worked?
For me, it was probably working at a stage production company building fog machines and dealing with minor pyrotechnics. Lasted a whole summer. |

| I think it's a tie between the two of the three real jobs, or ones that I consider to be real jobs. I worked at a waterpark, I got to spend a lot of time outside which I really like and it wasn't very hard either plus my coworkers were awesome and I got paid for getting a tan and reading when I was at one station.
The other job that I liked was being a teller, after the first week I never really gave a second thought to the amount of money that was in my drawer. There were times where I would sort 20 bundles or so of hundreds (each bundle was $1,000) and not really think about it either. I'll never have that much money in my hands at one time ever again. |

| I was a drummer in an indie band... yes I consider it a job... ...lasted 3 years... best time of my life.
I also real enjoyed being a Legal NCO in the Army Reserve... I was practically in my own little world. I can be a fairly cynical and sadistic person and that job really fed it... got to see a lot of really stupid people... then got to watch then have nervous breakdowns... then got to watch them get kicked out of the army. Watching a manager from SPAWAR freak out because one of his employees email bombed EUCOM and a large chunk of FORCECOM using the server at SHAPE (NATO headquarters) was a highlight too... |

| I think the job I'm in right now (working at a record store) is the best I've ever had. There are a lot of perks (free CDs, being able to get new releases the Friday before they come out, laid back bosses), but I think the best thing about working there is that I’ve seen people start dancing to Doc Watson and Django Reindheardt in a hip hop style.

I learned how to weld and also took a few classes in blacksmithing. That is one thing I wish I had recieved more time in. My teacher for the blacksmithing had us use coal and a forge he made himself. For most of our class our "anvil" was a large piece of steel from a building that had been demolished.
The fencing compay was the best job, I worked outside all the time and went to many different places... also put in alot of LONG hours. We had this one job where we were putting up a perminant temporary fence (I know sounds strange) at an airport. The fence had to NOT be easily removed so we ended up having to cement posts into a runway that had been built during the second World War.... anyway... it was touch we would put in about 15 hours a day and for the most part were working in 110 + degree weather.. I made alot of money during that time. If I remember correctly, there was one week that I brought home about 1200.00... havent made that much since... and probably never will again.

| My current job. I have my own business with an office on our property. I get to spend far more time with Mrs. RC and the kids than when I was commuting to all those big companies. Cub Scouts, Little League, horsey girl things, TKD takes up a goodly bit of my time, and I like it that way. I have more time for music too- singing in one group, and playing frets in another. |

| By far it is my present position as administrative/personal assistant to a P.E. I am responsible for book-keeping, client communication, research, loads of transcription, all manner of paperwork, A/R & A/P and anything to keep the office running efficiently.
I. love. it. My boss is an amazing man, his business is incredibly fascinating to me and I'm learning SO much in the legal sphere. I usually work 8-4/5ish with whatever lunch I need or days off, etc. It's just a fabulous situation. Having a Toyota Camry as a perk is also very nice. |

| I don't normally love the jobs I have. I take them because I need to pay for rent and food. That said, I can usually find things I like about any job.
My favourite job, though, was treeplanting, hands down. It was the first "real" job I had where I was continually dealing with people, and I got to spend a lot of time outdoors, more or less by myself. The pay was good; the more work one does, the more money one will make. I didn't really mind the bugs or the sun or living in a tent for weeks at a time. And camp life was enjoyable: after work, everyone cooks their food and has a beer or two, and then they go off to bed. Treeplanters can be craaazy and a lot of fun.
In fact, this is the first job I enjoyed enough to do more than once. |

| I would have to say when I worked as the desktop support person for a nurse staffing agency was a load of fun. Primarily because I was truly irreplaceable and they knew it. I had a blast and had some very mentally challenging projects and access to as many computers and as much hardware as one could imagine. I rube-goldberged my office up a little and had a lot of fun with ancient computers as well as keeping literally hundreds of win2k systems operational. I had to leave to go to college. Honestly, I miss it.
Or my time at Moody as the assistant to the dean's office. That position had all the perks as I knew all the higher ups and got to hang with profs. My boss there was a woman. I only mention that because a lot of guys think that is bad, but she was in my opinion the best boss to ever walk planet earth. Always kind, helpful, and gave us the reigns with our projects. I didn't hae to do my projects according to a preconceived method as long as they got done and well.
