When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

I don't think they're a "Christian" band, per se. I think that a better classification of them is a band consisting of Christians, which is what they see themselves as.

| Odd, no one has talked about this CD yet.
I downloaded the first three songs ("oh no!") and they sound pretty darn good. Once I form an opinion I'll compare this album to last, but I can tell unless the rest of the album stinks then this won't be much of a letdown.

| Well, wow. Still no posts here, and I'm hoping someone else has picked up this album - I got it recently with birthday money.
The overall sound is just slightly different than This Type of Thinking, and the main difference I notice after about 6 plus listens to it is that the vocals are much more linear, meaning they flow much smoother. Whereas before Pete would say a phrase at a time and then pause, now they flow better.
I think "Straight Jacket Fashion" has an amazing intro, and "Paint The Seconds" will probably turn out to be my favorite song once I've memorized everything.
The only problem I have right now is that there is no closing acoustic track, like on the last two albums. Those were great ways to end the album and now "Saturdays" is just another hard rock song like the rest of it.

| I think this album is really catchy. I've been listening to brainiac, antisaint, straightjacket fashion, and humanoid on repeat. That being said, i dont think this is their best cd, its just very catchy.
check out this website, you can vote for vena sera, and every song on it. its pretty cool. it doesnt work with mozilla though |
