I've been a Christian for about thirteen years. I became a Christian when I was three but I think when I really became commited was when I was twelve or thirteen. I'm not sure what happened then that deepend the relationship, but I know that it was definitely deepened then. I think part of it had to do with just being older and starting to understand things better. Another part of it I think had to do with studying the Bible more. Also, around that time, my family and I started looking for a different church which was a good thing because the church we were attending was pretty dry. We found a really good one and God really helped me to grow there.
What keeps
me is the fact that God is real and that he wants a relationship with me. That he wanted that relationship so bad that he was willing to die. I don't have any right to that relationship but God made a way. Like someone already said, it's that debt I owe to my Savior. He bought my life and so I want to give it to him.
Also, like Reedolo said, the Peace God gives is so wonderful.
God is awesome.
