I pretty much assume that before comatose skillet put out bland songs like savior, but I've never heard any of their other albums besides the concert.
| How is Comatose less "bland" than "Savior"? Quote:

From my experience every single one of there albums has alienated old fans and brought in new ones based on the change of direction. Quote: |
I remember my old youth pastor telling me they did techno at one point or something, I don't know if he was sarcastic or not?
| Its not really techno, but its more industrial or pop-industrial-rock. Quote: |
Which other skillet albums are worth buying? I though comatose was great, a little dark, but great for what it is.
| We can't predict what you will like. If you like Comatose you might like all of the others...you might not like any of them. |

| I wouldn't say Alien Youth was on the border of metal. Basically they went into a harder rock than the previous Invincible and Hey You...,but they kept some of the industrial beeps and other sound effects. Not as heavy on the sounds as Invincible or Hey You..., but I wouldn't say they were quite on the verge of metal either. And Collide I would classify as Hard Rock as well as Comatose. |

| i like Collide and Comatose the best, but Collide had more good songs than Comatose. IMO, Collide has 4-5, maybe 6 whereas Comatose only has 2-4, depending on what you like. i voted for Collide

| Comatose for the win. It has the most varying tracks from any of their previous albums. From Yours to Hold to Falling into Black, I think it's the best because of the diversity. |

They started out as grunge in the 90s and ended up as hard rock bordering metal, with a little detour through an electro/industrial style. But whatever you do, DON'T listen to the new album "Alive". It sucks
I voted Collide, btw, but I have loved every album up until "Alive" |
