That is really sad though. Apparently she has three kids. |

#4 | | Red Sox Rocker | That is incredibly sad. The worst part is, people feel driven to meet the challenge. They do these things willingly. That's the sad part.

The only reason I knew was because of the hazing event recently and only because I happened to be watching the news when it came on. I don't think water intoxication is common knowledge. |

| And all they would have had to do was switch it to a Gatorade drinking contest...
Honestly, I think the station should have to pay a serious fine. It's about time people started thinking before acting. I get so sick of people doing things "for fun" that are dangerous and not caring that they're dangerous.

| Making people sign a form =/= taking responsibility for actions. Legally, it works. Morally, it doesn't.

Most people probabally saw the form as a formality to be eligable to win.

| Drinking excessive amounts of water while ignoring your body's natural response to it seems like a stupid thing to do, anyways. If my kids want a Wii (or whatever is the equivalent when I get around to procreating), they can get a paper route. |

Aren't the idiots who take part in the contests ultimately reliable for their own fates? |
