This year seems like a good year for music,
i can't wait for Megadeth, and Sum 41.

The Megadeth one is gonna smoke too. But I have a feeling that the new BTA CD is gonna pwn their last album by a mile.

i hope so, it better be. I've heard some dissapointing second albums from bands, but it seems like the bands that actually know their instruments and strive to conquor it, they can't have a bad album.
And its really exciting to see a band of really good musicians that are christian.
I'm gonna send in a letter to Guitar World, asking for a column or interview done with BTA. They deserve it, unless i should wait till after the album coems out.

Here's a bit of an update on the upcoming CD The Physics of Fire;

The band has been asked to have a new track ready for the release of the next installment of "This is Solid State" compilation cds. Mixing has already begun on "The Physics of Fire" and is set to wrap up in the middle of February. "This is Solid State vol. 6" will be released in March of this year. Since the band will not have any new material on hand until the end of February the decision has been made to wait until the compilation drops to release any new material to the public. Vocalist Jason Wisdom is quoted as saying, "We wanted to release a couple new songs via myspace and purevolume before we got the final mixes. After we finished writing/recording though we realized that there is just too much going on within each song on this record and we really cant afford to release any tracks unmixed. They just wont communicate what we want them to if they arent finished." After the release of the compilation cd the band plans to strategically unleash a few more tracks on the unsuspecting public leading up to the launch of "The Physics of Fire" which is now set to be released on May 8th 2007. Check back regularly as there will be many more updates coming soon!!

NEW SONG ON MYSPACE!!!!

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...iendid=5228652

The song is called "Autopsy" and it freaking kills! There's an awesome extended solo part during the latter half of the song, and the clean vocals are very metallish(moreso than anything from Demon Hunter, Haste The Day, or the like) and fit well with the song.

I'm sure they're not going to take away all the screaming/growling in the band. That would ruin what BTA is all about.

I heard that their old guitarist left and they got a guitarist from Aletheian, and I think that it's that guy's singing voice on this song and "Epoch of War", because it sounds like Aletheian's singing.

They had some awful low ones on "One Man Parade" and "Into Oblivion".

You'd be correct.

if they sing anymore than a few songs on this cd, itell be hard to buy. I am SO tired of awesome metal bands changing and doing the half singing stuff. There is more of that now that just screaming/growling metal.

There isn't much singing at all; and even when there is, there's screaming also.
