I preordered this on Zambooie.... I hope it comes soon. I'm so excited I think I'll wear a BTA shirt today.

I just saw Blindside's Great Depression cd for $27.99 a few weeks ago. I can get it for under half that off the internet from the states. Regardless, that album is probably worth $30.00 anyway.

Yeah, when I bought mine way back in the day it was 26.99. Of course it was worth it.

To be back on topic, I just got this album today and it is BROOTAL! The screaming is amazing. However, I absolutely hate the cleans, but thankfully they're endurable. The solos are wicked too. I also loved the use of keyboards more in this one.

There are less cleans though, right?

Yeah. There's actually hardly any. That's why its easy to tolerate because everytime there are cleans, they end quickly and then you don't really hear them much afterwards. The rest of the vocals are totally amazing though. They really did a good job at layering the different pitches and stuff.

I take it you hated the clean vocals on the last album too, right?

No, I actually really loved them. I thought they added a different dimension to BTA. But after the guitarist left, I didn't think that any attempted cleans would be nearly as good. And I was right.

Here's something random..

I hate the acoustic guitar the beginning of How Great Thou Art. They obviously didn't mic it when they recorded. They probably just used the line out. Stupid heads. It sounds awful..

Other than that, that song might be my favorite.

I enjoyed the cleans this time around though I may be one of the few.

The less cleans the better.

So I went to CD Plus to buy the new album yesterday. CD Plus didn't even have a section for BTA! I'll have to wait until I next go to Stoon to pick it up I guess.
I can't wait much longer.
And from what I've seen of the album cover, it looks pretty crappy, but thats the least of my worries and it won't affect the brutality that I am waiting for.

I have all their CD's, never seen them in concert though. They're one of my favourite bands and they're great for shutting down those "All screamo bands are of the devil" people.

I wasn't a fan of their 2nd album, despite loving their 1st.,
