How was christmas?

....self explainatory..

So what did you guys do?

I had a difficult christmas (see: http://christianguitar.ws/boards/sho...786#post177786 )

But it was ok. Did the family dinner thing. Ran out into the rain and then stayed out there as it hailed! Good stuff! Ate too much as usual! But one of my presents was this great guitar tuner. It's really cool. I kinda wish my guitar would go out of tune a little so I can tune it again.

So what happened at your christmas?

Christmas...
It's a tough time to be missing someone. Or losing someone.
I'm prayin' for ya
My Christmas was one of those where ya hang with family and extended famiy and you eat too much and end up with, like 10 kilos sitting in your tummy and you speak Dutch and listen to stories of "when I was your age" and you don't actually mind that the stories have been told to you 10 billion times and grandpa talks about the war Christmas and then you feel really sad for an old guy who watched his friends die right before his eyes and then you eat Christmas pudding with icecream and trifle, and top it all off with coffee...

Anyway, that was my Christmas.

How about the rest of you guys???

Locked into a corner, up against the wall,
I know you've been stumbling, trying not to fall.
I can feel your sorrow, and I can share your pain
I can hear the questions exploding in your brain.
Walking in the shadows, feeling all alone;
Looking for the answers, rolling every stone.
'Tis a run in silence, and laughing nearly came
Though my eyes can't see you, I know we're much the same.
-Just The Same, Phil Keaggy

The sky is raining tears tonight My brother You know it's hard to sleep So far from home The moon has covered up her eyes My sister I thought I'd find you here But I am all alone All alone Light of Heaven Lord of mercy Shine the goodness Of your love upon this day Till we see you Till we know you Till the sorrow And the darkness fades away Fades away I searched the city streets today My father The tunnel and the train The river and the rain I walked beneath the harbor lights My mother And in the shadows there I call your name I call your name
