Futurama isn't any better. But at least they come up with new jokes.

Futurama is great. I used to like family guy, it just doesn't do anything for me anymore.

I used to like it to, but what I've seen recently I haven't been to thrilled with.

Futurama is brilliant. I highly suggest watching episodes consecutively so as to grasp the big picture of the show. It actually had progression!

I've become bored with Family Guy as well. Some of the older episodes still get me chuckling ("Krypton sucks!"), but a lot of it falls flat with me now.

I don't care for either, and frankly I find them both lewd and boorish.

Futurama is neither lewd nor boorish. It is (was) generally quite witty and clever.

Agreed. I think it's just that Family guy bores me now. They try too hard for a laugh. Even the old shows seem pretentious now too... It's like flat coke or stale crackers.

Wow, glad I'm not the only one who has felt this way. We should type a letter, and then, tell everyone about that letter, and they'll be "dude, that's a good idea, I'm gonna write one", and they tell someone about their letter and so fourth.. soon, we'll have hundreds of unsent mutterings.

Old Family Guy was mildly amusing. New Family Guy is trying way, way, way too hard.

The South Park episode about Family Guy sums up my feelings.
