| My favorite gift that I ever gave my girlfriend was a dozen origami roses that I folded for her and then put in a vase using some green pipe cleaners for stems. If you've never done origami, they'd be a pain-in-the-royal-you-know-what to do, and they're still difficult to do even if you've done origami before, but the end result is pretty spiffy. I used a good stiff colored paper (not construction paper) instead of origami paper, so it would hold up better.

| Probably something that's personally meaningful and thoughtful for her. In other words, probably something nobody on here would be able to suggest for you. |

Homemade gifts usually go a long way because it shows that you took time and effort to give her her gift.

| Oh my gosh!!! I tried it (a paper rose) for about a half hour and I couldn't do it. I gave up. Props to anybody who did it successfully.

| Yeah, inside jokes work.
I like giving devotional sorts of books. Perhaps something that you know what only *you* would give her. Something she probably wouldn't recieve from anyone else. |

| I dunno, one thing to do would be to go shopping with her, when you see her stop and look at something(preferably something really expensive lol), come back later and buy it. Ya just gotta figure out what she would want from you.
Or what is something that means a lot to her? Figure it out, like if she likes horses, get her something to do with horses. But getting present are really person specific, what is the perfect gift for one would be total devestation to another. You really got to do some research and know what she would like. There is no set formula to a girl's heart.
