And yet ironically enough, caffeine increases a person's susceptibility to agitation and anxiety... *grin*

I didnt know that. For me, it does exactly what I need it to do at different times.

Like when I need to sleep, I can drink a cup of coffee and a half hour later I am dead asleep (usually). Or when I need to be wired up and ready to go, it does that for me.

I think its more of a mental thing, but the caffein must have something to do with it.

Caffeine stimulates the heart and respiratory system and has the bad habit of making people anxious, jittery and causes most to operate on a hair trigger if they rely on it to carry them through their day. For example, waking up and downing four 8 fl. oz. cups of a light roast coffee would kill their ability to be in a good mood or really feel at home anywhere. Then, after it wears off, such people find themselves crashing harder than before.

The fact is, I enjoy it because I do not believe it is disgusting.


Anyways, Jason, I dont drink that much in a sitting. Maybe 2 cups throghout the day.
