Cd grew pretty old pretty quick. Almost every song is too long - if you're a normal rock band, don't try writing a bunch of 5 minute songs without more ideas. The lyrics suck most of the time too.
Average quality. 6/10.

It's amazing how this CD got an easy 10/10 on UG.

I don't think he sounds whiny at all. It sounds to me like he is putting all he has into these songs. I can understand why people would think that, but as someone else said, I hear passion more than anything.

I think they would be just another rock band without the strings and production work. The strings on nearly every track add to the message of these songs, IMO. And their lyrics aren't anything amazing, but they are well written and do not come across as preachy. However, their faith is still evident.

Even though this is a hard rock CD, I think the strings and timely use of acoustic guitar make this CD stand out.

9/10. Great CD! I actually like it better than Innocents and Instinct. I love how they sound similar to Linkin Park, but they aren't a cheap knockoff like Falling Up and 38th Parallel. They sound similar, while still retaining their own sound and style. One of my all time favorite CD's!
