For the third year in a row, I have made the same New Year's resolution: To put together my own worship CD. This year, I think that I will actually be able to accomplish my goal.

Toward the end of last year, I worked very hard to enter all of my CDs into my computer.

I am still working on putting together a CD to use for the live manger scene at church. I want it to be about 1 hour long.

Also, I would like to practice guitar more this year.

Oh, hehe. I actually made that with the Mii channel on a Nintendo Wii. You can create cartoonish characters and stuff, and then they show up in various games.

I came in expecting to see Kepa and instead, I found you! You did a really nice job. It really does resemble you!

I would like to label my first empty space: Inn Decor and place Kate's candle in it. I would like to label the second empty space: Guest reservations and registration and put your picture there! Would you mind? I can't put your face out there without your permission. We all know that a hotel manager must be very discreet. I wonder if I can get the computer to allow me to pull this off.

Thank you so much for the wonderful likeness of yourself and for participating in my journal. I have said a prayer of thanks to God for allowing you in my life. You are a great blessing to me.

Hi Adri!

I am glad that you stopped by. Whatever you feel comfortable with. Please feel free to post here if you like.

I started reading your journal but never made it past the first page. I read all of the positions on the curling team. It was a lot of information! You have so many visitors! 100 pages of journal reading seems like such a tall mountain for me to climb. My initial impression of you is that you must be a very creative person.

When I first meet a person in CGR, I like to know their:

Age (I don't have to know a perfect, exact age. In fact, sometimes I think that might not be safe on the net.)
Religious Denomination
Musical status/what instrument(s) they play

I almost cannot get my bearings with a person if I do not know those 3 things.

(gender helps)
(marital status helps)
(career or school major helps)
(country the person lives in helps)

Age:
Mostly, I am concerned about knowing if I am dealing with an adult of legal age 21+ or a minor child under the age of 18. CGR is full of children and I feel an extra burden of responsibility if I am dealing with a minor child. I like to let my hair down and so mostly I hang around with older people (Geezers.) I like relating to an even mixture of different aged people but I really need to have at least a few people close to my own generation to relate to within my circle of friends.

Religious Denomination:
Knowing this helps me to be respectful of our differences.

Musical status:
After all, this is what brought me here.

I am a middle aged married lady.
I have two stepchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. I never had any children of my own.
I was born a Christian and joined the Lutheran church in 1999.
I play the guitar and read music.

I look forward to getting to know you better.
Please do drop in.

You came to see me.

Whatever brought you here, that was the Lord. I prayed you in here.

I can't be trusted. If I wrote all that I really want to, you would delete most of my journal.

The good thing that holds me back is that I am afraid that I would trigger things for Kate. The good thing that helps me and propels me forward is the light hearted humor of my friends.

Having a place of my own feels really, really different.

Were you down?

Thanks for stopping by.
Please do drop in.

Todays puzzle:

Something that we wipe our feet on.
A color
An adult, male human being.

I hope that somebody gets this wrong so that I will be able to make the wrong answer sound.

Welcome. I didn't know you had already opened for business. I knew you were thinking about it, but Lee didn't tell me you were already open to the public.

You're welcome. yes time together was and is precious. At the same time though, we can't isolate ourselves entirely.

*blush* As I learn from you as well.

I've said similar things before about it being deleted and Bill hasn't done that to me yet

It's alright if you need to talk about something that you think might trigger - I am getting better with that.

Having your own place does feel different - it was too different so I closed mine down and moved in with my boyfriend. :0

Wow. You shouldn't of. Truly. Sometimes my blog on CGR does not really share kind of who I am for basic information. Don't read it! You can ask me anything you want to know.

I take other people's creativity and use it for myself.

I play with the acoustic guitar, flute, panflute and a little of percussions. Oh and harmonica but fairly ill. Actually I don't think I play anything exceedingly well except the flute.

Yeah, That was fun to fill out. The library isn't a very conductive place to go onto the computer. It is so limited! I'll stop by and read some more later!

Hello Mrs. Role Modlin!
What a pleasant surprize it is to have you join us here at the inn! You and your family are always welcome here. I hope that you will be comfortable and enjoy your stay with us.

Really, thanks for stopping by. I can't for the life of me think of why Lee did not inform you. I guess that we will just have to forgive him for the oversight.

How are you doing? How are things going? How are the children doing? I have read that you have been doing quite well in school. Do you like it?

Have you met the other guests at the inn? I would like you to meet: Tony, Adri and Bill, do you know Passinthru? Of course, you already know Kepa and Lee. I just hate the way people sometimes act like other posters do not exist. I would like for you to all get along in my journal. Let's just pretend that you are at a party in my home. It is ok for you to mingle here.
