I have Warcraft 3. What exactly is the World of Warcraft, as in game play?

I know that its like the most popular mmporg in the world or something.

Haha. I have a lot too but I've only managed to get the one to 70. My next highest was a 31 rogue I abandoned a long while ago.

In the next patch they're actually making it easier to level. For lvls 20-60 they're decreasing the EXP required per level in addition to making the quests reward more EXP.

I'm actually in the middle of Tier 6 content at the moment. Haven't picked up any myself. I don't want to break my set bonuses just yet.

That is only my agi set of gear since I'm currently survival, I have about 4 diff sets. lol. MP5, AP/raw damage, etc.

working our way through SSC right now, downed Kazzak and Doom Walker last night. easy fights.

update! first in my guild to get t5 set bonus. IT's soooo beautiful. my pet shall never die!

(Actually... lol) I tested it out in the mines during netherwing dailies. He died when I had about 10 mobs on him. just couldn't heal him through it by myself. Hooray t5.

The 2/5 t5 bonus is quite nice. I'd rate it as better than even the 2/5 t6 bonus. I miss it.

Oh, my guild beat the game on Monday. Illidan dead. We got the main hand warglaive.

I just can't get into this game....it seems like it's all just an elaborate way to keep getting items, etc. I tried it out for the trial period and wasn't impressed. Maybe it takes longer than 2 weeks or whatever to get into it. What's the draw for you guys?
