You chose not to have a melody run through the tune, which is fine, I guess, but I find having a melody to play back on really drives a solo piece like this foward, makes things more interesting. Etc.
I get a little bit of lag in Kristal, so I have to adjust each track I record. And I could have been a little behind in my playing too. And you are right about repeating myself. Bad habit of mine.

Sounded very nice.

I think I liked the first one better. I love the whammy on both of them though.

Yeah, I got that lag when I used Kristal as well. I found that what helps is not beginning recording at the very, very beginning of the track, and moving back the very end of the track to right where the marker is when you stop recording on a high zoom setting.

I tried it at Best Buy... Give me madden

Funny story about it though:
I am organizing a concert at my school and attempting to recruit some bands to come play. So while sitting in the lunch room, I overheard a few guys talking about getting together to 'Jam' at home after school, and they kept talking about all these covers they were going to play, so my thought was "Ah, those are good songs, if they can play those then I want them to come play at my concert." So I approach them only to find that they were going to be 'Jamming' w/ Guitar Hero.

Losers.

Ummm...my high school grad. 25th reunion is in 2 years...I don't think I could pass for a high school student these days no matter how young at heart I feel.
But I appreciate the thought.

I'm pretty decidedly a high school student, though...

Hey, cut the off-topic chat! Clips or discussion of clips!

Very nice. I definitely have a preference for the slower solos that are Bluesy and/or jazzy in flavor.
