| I've been looking forward to this one for a while. I think there's a thread somewhere around here... |

| I adored the story of the 300 Spartans when I was a boy and I was awestruck at the trailer. I've never read the Comic Book but I was weaned on Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, and all the fantastical tales of Greek war histories and epic mythos. Moreover, I loved Frank Miller's work on The Dark Knight Returns.
In a word, I'm really looking forward to seeing it this Spring. |

| I think history fans will be a little disappointed... what with the mutants and all. I'm trying to turn off my love of the history because it looks like an extremely stylazed and quite possibly very good movie and I genuinely want to enjoy it. |

| The trailer gets me even more excited for a movie that I was already ridiculously excited about it. |

| I'm stoked. When I learned about the Battle of Thermopylae last semester, I thought to myself, "They should make a movie about this." And apparently they have, even though it looks like it's not going to be historically accurate. I want to see it. |

| I'm cautiously excited. It'd be pretty hard to make this story into anything less than ridiculously awesome, but I'm hoping it isn't going to be over stylized or overly fictional. |

| It's based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller; it will be awesome, even if it is stylized and fictional. |
