this might be in the wrong place for this.
I got a quick question, what are the bellows on a accordion made of? well at least what is the most common accordion bellows made out of? I wanted to know because I want to buy a vintage one because there alittle cheaper and I wanted to know if the bellows could go bad as in they could turn stiff.
Hmm...I'm really not sure what they are made of...Wikipedia is not helpful either. I am sure that it should be fine as long as the bellows still compress. My friend has a vintage one (called the "Futurama," oddly enough), and it is in fine working order. I think the biggest thing you need to worry about with accordions is the reeds, if they are in good shape, tuned, etc.

Okay, see I'm going to buy it offline and its mostlikly going to be vintage so yeah I can't really play it online but they do say if they work or not so...I won't buy one with dead notes.
