| A Work In Progress So, I can't get on the internet and my blog gets CPFed! Like
Anyway, I really liked my blog, and I'm really, really sad I have to start over.
I'm on dial-up until the 5th (of December), so I won't be on much.
My life is like a rollercoaster ride.
I got a package from the kids from my old youth group. And I suddenly realized how much I miss "real" friends. I mean, I love you guys and really care about you, I thought about you all alot while I couldn't get on, but I'm really, really lonely. The kids in the youth group I currently attend don't really care about me. Like, the only ones who are my age (a few girls) never talk to me unless I go up to them.
So, I'm going to be looking around for a new youth group, trying different churches, hopefully making some new friends.
I hate living in town, I'm always bored.
Man, this is depressing. My last blog started out with a depressing beginning, and so does this one. Oh well, I'm depressed right now, so it fits I suppose. |

its always hard to make new friends in when you move. my youth group is so far away i dont get to go very much so i dont know very many people there either. i might have to find a new youth group thats a little closer so i can be more involved. so i know how you feel.

| Hey, thanks for posting. I'll be in your blog soon to catch up, but I gotta get off now.
Do find another youth group closer. Most people don't like the idea because it's a different church, but I see no problem. But thanks for the encouragement. |

| I'm not allowed to go to youth group at all. And when I did make some really great teenage friends whil on a missions trip, I got in trouble becuase they were punk-rock kids.
J_freek, hang in there. I know what it's like to feel isolated, and I'm praying for you. If I ever come to Canada, I'll drop by....
Edit: Sorry, I didn't relize that you were moving our of Canada.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't relize that you were moving our of Canada. | And I thought my parents were strict! My parents let me go to youth (a crazy wild youth with people from every walk of life) even though my mom thought I was too young...the only time I wasn't allowed to go was when I had to work.
I moved from Canada about 6 months ago. I'm in Waverly, Virginia now. Quote:

There is a Baptist church across the road from my neighborhood that I'm going to check out....my dad said he'd support me, until I said what church I was going to try. We are Pentecostals.
My grandparents are coming on the 20th of December, and we are going to spend Christmas and New Years together. This will be the first time I haven't celebrated it without my extended family, or the family from my mother's side. |

| Around here, the difference between baptists and pentecostals is basically just the name. As far as preaching is concerned, I've never heard any difference. But I know it's a bit different with southern baptists and all.

My dad just said I thought the Baptist church would be boring for me (not to offend anyone). I still haven't had a chance to check out any churches. It rained, so I couldn't ride my bike anywhere. Quote:

I'm feeling a little better today. Man, I just can't believe it's December 2, and we have no snow!. Needless to say, my body is really upset that I'm torturing it....such a long summer! I want to see snow so bad. Instead I look out and see Christmas decorations on brown grass. Every time I see that, I'm say "It's the middle of summer! " |

I hate living in town, I'm always bored. | Yeah...the people on CGR are cool...but they can't replace "real" friends. I'm really sorry to hear about the kids in your current youth group. When I was attending the youth Sunday School at my church, I felt much the same way (with the exception of 2 good friends--who are 2 of my best friends today! ). We all pretty much felt the same about the youth group...so we joined an adult Sunday school
I also got involved in the AWANA group, which was my sort of 'lifeline' in high school (the only Christian group I was involved with). Quote:

| What's crazy is that it's supposed to be summer here, and it's rained for the last 2 days. It cleared up by the end of today though. |

There are still a fair number of roads that are just sheets of ice (*lots* of fun to drive around on ). | Mom took us to the library so that was really good. Anyway, then we went to some really smelly thrift shop. The owners tried to sell it to us, and give us kittens. And we met some of our neighbors there, so they told us about the Baptist church I was thinking of checking out. It sounds really small. Quote:

It's kinda cold here now. (in the lower 50s. ) Quote:
