I'm trying to learn some songs on the guitar...Amazing Grace, and some crazy Dropped D tuning fingerpicking songs. I think I can finally Drop D Tune by ear. | What crazy songs?

Do you know how to play false harmonics (I think thats what i'm thinking of). A friend of mine showed me how to do them and they are probably the coolest thing I've ever seen.[heard] |

| I'll send you some. Not if I know what's good for me. I want to lose 10 pounds....5 of them because they need to be gone, and the other 5 are so when my Grandma comes for Christmas, I can take more of her insisting about eating (she's always convinced I'm going to end up in the hospital I'm so "thin". )
Um...."Living in the Country", "Mull of Kintyre" and stuff like that. |

| wait...you only play acoustic, dont you? I think you need an electic guitar to do it but you hold the fret than when you pick the note you drag the knuckle of your thumb across the string you picked and it makes it sound different. |

I'm also very friendly in person. | Just like you're doing with Kaze.
You just kept me talking, asking lots of questions and coming into my blog.
Just like with a new Church, School or any club, one has to conect and feel welcomed. You made me feel welcome. |

For some reason, everyone gets so scared of even the word "diet" My mom started worrying about me....mostly because my dad said to me several days ago that if I lost a couple pounds, I'd look like my sister, who is your perfect model. Quote:

I've always hated the idea of people not coming to know the Lord because they went to a church and nobody paid them any attention. Those stories kill me. And I don't want God to judge me on that.
The song by Casting Crowns called "Does Anyone Hear Her." touches on that very point, and the music video was extrememly real to me, though my father thinks it's too graphic.
Well, more or less we are settled into our new home, and I'm working on my Christmas cards.
Later on in the afternoon I'm going to "town". My sibs and I put money together to get my mother a sweater that she really likes for her b-day. So, we are going to get that.
I'm going to go to that Baptist youth group tonight...and I'm just a little anxious. A new denomination is something one just doesn't have any qualms about. And the fact that most of our neighbors attend that church. |
