| Next time you make a chocolate cake, you could make some ganache to coat the cake instead of normal icing. |

We had ice cream and whipping cream with it. (Yes, very high in calories. )
Well, we did go to the Nativity Story yesterday, it was alot of fun, a really good show, I thought.
Church today was awesome. Our superintendent Larry Hickey was preaching, really good. The sermon was like a punch a gut. |

There is all this pine needle things in our yard from way back when, so we are trying to clean up the yard. And getting ready for my grandparents coming on Wednesday.
Other than that, my life has been a drag. |

I'm excited because my grandparents are coming tomorrow...though I won't see them until Thursday.
We are still raking up the pine needles and all that.
And we still don't have any wrapping paper, but my mom went to try to get some today. |

Anyway hello Jazz. *smile*
I did it! Whew. I didn't realize how long this chapter was. (I didn't check my grammar or anything either, hope you don't mind.)
As usual just my thoughts as reading. Proverbs 3
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you prosperity.
So we should remember what God teaches us and not
Let go of what he has done for us. If we keep what he has taught us
In our mind and thoughts (and I think in regards to this- do what he says)
We can prolong our life. Why do you think this is that our life is prolonged by doing what these verses say Jazz?
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
So I thought to myself, Am I being faithful to God? To what I say I believe?
Sometimes I find myself constantly getting sidetracked, forgetting about why I am here
Or if to find out why I am and I get in this mind trap where I get all involved in what happens to me. Obviously if I looked around I would see it wasn’t so. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
Do I trust in him with my whole heart? Not always. I worry get stressed, feel panicky, and feel like I don’t know what to do, and feel like I have tried every way to get God’s help. God said he is always with us even when I don’t feel he is. He wants me to trust in him for good reasons. 6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. [a]
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
I think most of the time I see being wise in the Lords eye equalling what I think is wise in ‘my eyes’. Just for the fact that I believe in God, think I know what he wants from me many times, and such. L 8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline
and do not resent his rebuke,
What do you think Jazz? Do you think that if you follow God’s teachings, it will keep you physically healthy> Or do you think this is meant in a different way? 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
I should take discipline as something to help me grow and learn. Why would I need to learn if I already knew what to do? 13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the deeps were divided,
and the clouds let drop the dew.
This is something where I have heard people question if ‘Wisdom” is not a spirit or being. Or actually I was told that it could be Jesus. I don’t really know. It is an interesting thought. 21 My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment,
do not let them out of your sight;
22 they will be life for you,
an ornament to grace your neck.
23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble;
24 when you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
I like these verses when I am troubled and can not actually sleep. I try to think of things I can to do to follow what would help me in my walk to know God better. Something else I do if I can not sleep is pray for people. Sometimes I go on praying for a long time, and fall asleep after praying over someone. Sometimes I have been amazed who gets my last prayer, and it feels like one of those “God’ things. 25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the LORD will be your confidence
and will keep your foot from being snared.
So anything that happens, as long as we are following God, only what is supposed to happen to us by God will happen. We are supposed to Trust God. Why shouldn’t we after all, he has done so much for us. 27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it,
when it is in your power to act.
28 Do not say to your neighbor,
"Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"—
when you now have it with you.
I think I could do more for people in my life. I guess this comes from me being selfish and wanting people sometimes to do it for me, if they want anything back. L 29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor,
who lives trustfully near you.
30 Do not accuse a man for no reason—
when he has done you no harm.
31 Do not envy a violent man
or choose any of his ways,
32 for the LORD detests a perverse man
but takes the upright into his confidence.
33 The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 He mocks proud mockers
but gives grace to the humble.
35 The wise inherit honor,
but fools he holds up to shame.
We get what we give. What are we giving?
Hi Jazz. I probably will only get a chance to share a chapter a week, which means…I’ll be going pretty slow.
It snowed here yesterday, and the power has been going out a lot. Quote: |
The Oilers lost against the Aves 4-1.

| Hello Adrai. This chapter is long...especially to memorize.
Tell me the last time I spelled korectly. Quote: Proverbs 3

| I think it's because we live in obedience to God, which brings happiness. Not only to us, but to God, and he blesses us. One of the things he blesses us with is long life.
What about you? Quote:

| I believe so. It can also be spiritual. It all depends on our view of the Bible and how literal we take it.
What about you? Quote: 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,

My grandparents are here.
I went to youth last night, it was awesome. We have several things planned for the next few months, so I'm happy. Maybe I'll actually have some real friends. (Not that I don't love you guys. )
My grandparents told me some upsetting news about my best guy friend from Canada. He's being the world's biggest loser, so I'm kinda not doing so well, and I'm homesick. |
