| Today was pretty good. Got just about everything done I wanted to.
Amanda phoned to tell me that her cousin, who was going to be taking care of the kids at the daycare was rushed to the hospital. I think she meant that if Ginny doesn't come back from the hospital she needs me to look after the kids instead of going with her. In either case, we shall see....she hasn't phoned yet to say anything, so we'll see what happens in the morning.
I went to youth group, although it was kinda rainy, and my mom wasn't thrilled with me driving. But it was all good.
Youth was really good. Rachel wants us to have a revival in our youth group and church. So we've been spending most of the time just...worshipping and praying after she speaks a few words. So, I prayed with two of the younger girls (Shelby and Nicki) who I don't know really well. and I told them that if they ever wanted to talk, they knew where to find me. I think it's important for older girls to spend time with younger girls. Although the maturity level just about kills us older ones.....the communications and help we can give younger girls is very...important, I think.
and...I'm still trying to rename my blog. Apart from FTS's suggestion...which was something like The Lone Woman.....that's the only feedback.
So if y'all don't like that....say something or forever hold your peace! |

| So.
I went with Amanda to Hopewell this morning. Her surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. So for the next two weeks about I'll be on standby to help her either driving, taking care of the kids at the daycare, or taking care of her son, Da'Quon. so, we shall see.
I have to go to Felicia's tomorrow and clean. Then I have to rush home and go to my brothers baseball game. So, it will be busy. Saturday I'm probably going over to the Baptist church to help with the Angel Food Ministry. Then Angie is coming over and spending the night and going to church with us in the morning. So it will be good.
So, my lovely twin has suggested another name for my blog.
Her's is "Ruminations of a Small Town Girl"

Is your twin that girl who is always posting on your facebook? The 2 of you have some similar facial features.

We decided to call ourselves twins because we look slightly similar, and we think the same things at the same time...talking on IM can be hard sometimes, because we'll both be saying the same at the same time, but it depends on who types it first. Makes life interesting.
My brain kinda died.
I know my day has had ups and downs, I'm too tired to see clearly, and my mother thinks I spend too much time on the internet and has decided I'm not allowed it on after 9. I'm too tired to argue. My mom and I already had a stupid argument earlier. Being in a house with 3 women sucks. I wonder what one family in our church is like....they have 6 children....4 of them girls.
My brothers lost their first baseball game 9-1. They team didn't really play that well. We could have won, although Sedley is a really hard team to beat.
tomorrow and Sunday Angie is coming. That will be good.
I guess I better get off before Mom kills me... |

So, the boys lost their game on Friday 9-1. They made all kinds of mistakes, and the coaches made a few mistakes, and the umpire was a retard.
Saturday I slept in and Angie came over. We went to the Diner, which was really good.
Sunday was great....Pastor Mike had a great sermon entitled "What Next" which dealt with life after becoming a Christian. To sum it up, he said that one doesn't simply become a Christian and go on with your life. God wants a relationship with us, and is continually calling us to know him better, and to spend more time with him. Very thought provoking.
Sunday night the boys had another game. they lost 6-4...after being in the lead 3-0 for several innings. they played alot better, and are really shaping up as a team. Not as many mistakes. So, we shall see what happens on Friday. I hope they win, as it's their first home game. Might be nice if they win.
today I got my eye contacts. Getting them in was a breeze. I thought it might be harder, but that's the easy part. Taking them out took freakin forever! OMG. I spent at least 30 minutes. However, the lady had outstanding patience, which I thanked her for. taking them out tonight did not take as long. my left contact came out, but I didn't realize it...so I was still trying to take it out.
I felt pretty stupid, I will not lie.
My eyes are sore, and they really hurt.....
and i'm tired and bleh feeling.
However, tomorrow will be a good day.
Because i will choose to believe so. |

| Hopefully you'll get used to contacts. It took me a while when I first had to train myself to put them in and take them out. Now I can do it without a mirror though.

Now I can do it without a mirror though. | When i was cleaning the mirror in the bathroom at Amy's...i noticed that around the outside bottom rim of my right contact, there was blood formed. By the time i got home, there wasn't as much blood. However, mom said i needed to take them out and my right eye's contact came out not too bad, but i could not get the left one out. I tried and tried and tried. It eventually got to the point where when i tried, my eye moved with the contact. So i got my mom to try to take it out, and she couldn't either. I took a small nap, had supper (all with one contact in) and trying to not have a major panic attack. So, i put a wet cloth over my eye and lots of tear gel, and we eventually got it out and i cried my eyes out. My mom is definately my hero.
Well, this is probably the end of my contactness.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to see what they have to say. Quote:

| Sorry to hear about your contact problem. It could just be the type or radius or something. I'm not all that knowledgable in how that works, but there are some people who just can't wear them. I'm interested to hear what the doctor has to say.

I went to the dr. yesterday. He said that I did indeed bust a blood vessel. However, he wasn't the least bit concerned with it. (probably because it wasn't his eye)...and I can resume wearing contacts whenever I please.
however, I'm kinda rethinking it. I mean, I've never been so scared.
My said that instead of trying to take them out from the sides like I've been trying, I should try going down. So I'm gathering up my courage, and I'm probably going to try it one last time.
Maybe i'll put them on Friday or Saturday.
Today I cleaned for Felicia. I'm tired of cleaning that house.
Um....I don't have that much else to say.
My mom is ordering, as we speak....er...I type, rather.....the tickets for my grandparents to fly here...and my flight there....I'll be leaving on June 15....two days after my grad.
i'm...quite sad.
I'd rather not go...but I got to do what I got to do. |

| Hmm....I'm not even sure I know how I take my contacts out. I think I pinch them from the sides. At least, I'm pretty sure I do.
