| I say check out a classic 30 or a fender hot rod deluxe. You can get a Classic 30 for 300 on Ebay. Then if you wanna buy another guitar you can save a little more money.

| There are a bunch of users on here which have owned Traynors, particularly PianoMan, Casey, and Hopeful.
On changing tubes: If you can change a lightbulb, you can change a tube. They're basically the same thing anyway. All you do is pull the old tube out of it's socket, and push the new tube in. Since tubes only go in one way, it's pretty hard to mess up. |

| I bought my Classic 30 on Ebay - was shipped without issue from GA to CO, for about $25 FWIW.

I told the guy that I wanted to come take a look at the amp but he said it's first come first serve and someone's going to check it out before me. He said he'll call me though if the guy passes on the amp. I've been doing more research online and it really does sound like a great amp for an awesome price. |

I'm not in a rush so if I don't find one I like locally I'll check ebay. |

If I find something I'm interested in, I'll send the seller and message and see if they'll take a local pickup instead of shipping it across the county. |

I guess I'm still shopping. He probably sold the amp because he didn't call me. On with the quest for the magical amp!
Do you guys think this is a good deal? http://cgi.ebay.com/TRAYNOR-CUSTOM-V...QQcmdZViewItem
If I use the "Buy It Now" feature then shipping is free. It sounds like a good deal for what they say is a "brand new" amp. I know Hopeful loves the YCV50.

| you'll save about $125 off of the new price from musiciansfriend.com/Guitar Center.
I'm a little confused with the seller though...the item is BIN only (no bidding) and gives a shipping price of $45, yet the listing says (as you noted) free shipping with BIN. I would contact the seller and find out which one it really is. |

I actually didn't find any Traynor amps on sale there at all. Am I searching for the wrong thing? Nevermind. I found it on musicians friend. Sorry, I'm slow... |
