DecembeRadio?

Has anyone ever listened to this awesome new band? Classic rock type vibe, definitely some Lyrynrd Skynyrd esque type guitar work, and a lot of classic rock type licks. Great guitar work, and amazing lyrics too. The lead singer has a cool voice too. You guys seriously need to check them out. One of better debut albums I have ever heard.

these guys are AMAZING. My dad got them to come to our church 2 weeks ago. They led worship on sunday morning and our congregation was unusually receptive of their time of worship. Very high quality musicians. The evening performance was probably one of the best performances i've seen locally. After set up they came back to my house and had dinner. We talked about lot of different things and just thru that time you could tell that their hearts were in the right place. These guys are wonderful men of God and i know their ministry touched many people in my church. Couldn't ask for a better band.

I guess it may be December Radio, instead of DecemberRadio, but on the album it looks all one word.

I submitted a tab for "Drifter", but have not seen it posted yet.

I just got their most recent CD this last week. Extremely talented group, and great music. I've been wanting to find a Christian group with a classic rock sound, and these guys do that well. I highly recommend them.

yes they have 3 CD's out right now but you can only get the first two at concerts. One is a worship album and the other one has alot of the songs on their newest album but they aren't near as good as on the new one.

Sweet. I love that song. I can some play some of it, but I haven't managed to figure out how to play the rest of it.

I second and third all of that, DecembeRadio is a great band. I hope classic, southern rock comes back in style again.

I see that they have been touring with some serious bands, that's great. And the sooner we get some tabs out there from DecembeRadio the better.

I saw them in concert at a church about 5 months ago. It looked like everyone there didn't know their stuff, but were into their music. Then they kicked into "Carry On" by Kansas, and all the older dudes went wild. It was great!

If you haven't heard them, there are a lot of live videos of them on YouTube.com. And yes, it's spelled as one word with one "R". These guys are awesome! If you like rock, you'll like them. And as for the guys themselves, you know how everyone always says that any Christian band they meet "are the nicest guys"? Well, I've met a lot of Christian bands, and these guys really are the nicest guys.

If you live in the Houston area, we are having DecembeRadio come play at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Nassau Bay on July 6. Tickets are only $10 each, and $7 each for groups of 15 or more. You can get tickets at www.TicketServant.com. Come on out and see how good these guys really are!

Here's some pictures I took at Realfest in Valrico, Florida on March 31, 2007.

Eric

Josh

Boone

Here is DecembeRadio with Carolanne, our waitress at the Village Inn restaurant there. She was a hoot!

I just barely got their album today and am listening to them right now, and I cant help but ask, is it just me or does this sound like country as much as it does rock?

It's Southern Rock. I don't listen to country music, but what I have heard of the newer stuff, it sounds more like rock than country, so I think maybe in a broad sense the DecembeRadio CD might be played on a country station. But no, it's not country.
