Actually they are both Alvarez. They both sound very good. I like the acoustic better but play the electric more. The Alvarez web site at www.alvarezgtr.com they list retailer there.

I see you have a John Myung model Yamaha. Nice. I like the infinity symbol inlay.

Yeah its really nice, the 6 string really didnt feel like home to me the way a 5 does. Its a gorgeous instrument, those pics dont do my basses any justice

I think I'd prefer a 6-string because of the more chording options and I like to tap alot. However I don't know how good slapping would go on a 6. Well, I have my trusty 4-string for now; maybe my next bass will be a 6-string.

Thats why i bought the Curbow, with 33 frets i have more flexibility than a 6 string and its more comfortable for me to play.

These are my basses. I had a Hohner something or other, but I gave it to my little brother when I got this one.

Thats a Cort Curbow 4 string. The one I have is blue satin I think. This is my Takamine I just got. Since I dont have a digital camera I had to just get these from the sites.

Here's a video of me actually playing my bass. I think I posted this somewhere before. I just don't have a pic of my actual bass posted anywhere (I have a pic from Ibanez's website but not of the my exact bass).

Me playing my bass.
