| Ooops... I forgot to tell you all to go vote. Yeah. Do it. Heh... most of the polls have closed by now, but I hope everyone got out to the polls today.

| Well the Democrats have control of the house and possibly the senate. What do you think the changes will be if any? I personally think that people want change and the Democrats have 2 years to make a positive change or at least an effort. If they do, they may take the presidency. Which puts pressure on the Republicans too. I have heard that they want to get rid of Rumsfeld, but what other changes do you think will come of it. I still don't even know what their plan is regarding Iraq. |

| I think it's sad that it seems more like a control issue than a country issue. I'm sure there'll be somebody who comes and along and says the Republicans are just as bad, but all the dems care about it control of the country.
I also don't think either party is capable of "positive changes" in the long run. I by no means want this, but it's a very real possibility that they make take the White House in 2008. They'll screw things up for a few years, then the conservatives will take it back, they'll screw things up for a few years, then the liberals will take it back, they'll screw things up for a few years then the conservatives will take it back, they'll screw things up for a few years and the liberals will take it back, they'll screw things up for a years............
All the time making sure everything is blamed on Regan, Bush and Bush.
I don't think they have a plan regarding Iraq. If they get control and we're still in Iraq and they find out it's not as easy as they say it would be for them, you mark my words, this war will all of the sudden be a just and holy cause.
I hate politics and I look forward to the day when we're in Glory and there'll be no need for man-made systems like this anymore. |

| You are probably right. Nothing will change at least not for the better. It is sad though because I think it is obvious that the nation wants change, there just isn't a good option. |

| Blame them for the things they are responsable for.
Carter is responsable for not handling Iran better, for allowing the millitary to lax, for poor management of the economy.
Reagan is responsable for trickle-down, and forr using drug money to go around congress's back to buy weapons for contra terrorists, and for supplying Saddam with weapons of mass destruction (technically, the components of them) with the instruction to use them, and for training BinLauden and the Mujahadeen terrorists how to fight an insurgency against a superpower, and for the disaster that is "trickle down" economics, and for creating tax laws friendly to offshoring.
Bush Sr. generally shares in the above as he was involved in the above. He's also responsable for the failure of intelligence that led to the first WTC bombing. |

| Well, now the Democrats have both the House and the Senate. Bush very well may start vetoing stuff now. And that's the good side of all this. Now nobody can screw things up too bad unless a lot of both sides want it.

Though he IS the only Republican I'd vote for...
It's obviously too early to tell, but it will make the 08 election very very interesting. I can't wait. |
