I think the real question is why you'd need a graphing calculator...

...exactly. I don't recall any graphing problems. Scientific calculators are really nice, though.

Er well, the calculator I had didn't do anything except add, subtract, and multiply. So a graphing calculator would have nice functions like cosine and things Not to mention I know lots of ways to finagle answers on the calculator (not by cheating by typing stuff in beforehand) if I don't understand how I should be actually doing it. Like on my math test last year, I forgot how to do the recurring formula, so I made a program on my calculator to do it for me (used a for loop that went on foreeever).

I got my scores back from my second test, and I got a 33. I think I'm done with the ACT now.
