There's a program available called Apprentice, which allows you to play people in MTG over the interweb, completely for free. If you don't already have this program, please download it
here.
I'd like to hold a CGR Magic: The Gathering TYPE II CONSTRUCTED tournament. Lets see if we can find the best player. This will be played over the internet via Apprentice (see above).
This tournament consists of two rounds. The first round will consist of four matches for each player against randomly determined opponents. There are three games in each match. You get one point for each game you win in the match. If a player reaches two points, the match is over, regardless of whether the last game has been played or not. A tied game results in a win for each player.
After each player has played four matches, the eight players with the most points will move on to the second round, which will be conducted as Single-Elimination.
Winner gets bragging rights.
If anyone is interested, please reply and post your decklist so I can check for Type II legality. You are allowed a minimum of 60 cards in your deck, along with an EXACTLY 15 card sideboard (optional).
