ok, interesting

once you're a believer you're a Christian(right??). Maybe not the strongest or most ideal Christian but i think that once you accept Christ, you are Christian. I could be wrong though.

A Beleiver is one who has:

1. recognized that he/she is a sinner - Rom 3:232. Understands that the wages of sin is death - Rom 6:23
3. recognized that Christ died for us while we were sinners - Rom 5:6-8
4. Acknowledges his/her sin repents and accepts Christ - Rom 10:9 - 13

Doing this does not automatically keep you from sinning. We are not perfect. That's why we are called to confess our sins daily and to turn from those things that God hates. The fear of God will cause you to hate evil and it's also the begining of wisdom. By fear I mean reverence.

my firend dated a mormon once and I can say that wasn't a pleasent experience for him because they viewed his Christian beliefs as somthing that was only 'taught' to him.
