| Yeah i boil the water in the kettle then stick them on the stove - when i can be bothered. They taste heaps nicer that way.
When i'm lazy i just microwave them. |

| Dude, sif use the microwave...I boil some water, stick them in a jug, cover them with boiling water so they're submerged, put a lid(preferably a bowl) over the top of the jug to keep the steam in, and leave em sit for about 10 minutes...they get really fat |

| Kind of defeats the idea of 2 minute Noodles
Actually has anyone here actually been able to cook them, so they are nice in 2 minutes. I honestily think it takes longer than that for them to be cooked how i like them. |

| it really comes down to how hungry you are
while i dont eat them raw[ or try not to]
if you only cook them and they come out half soggy, normally i cant be really stuffed putting them back in with more water and stuff.
also depends on what brand you use. i dunno if the makers realise how long it actually takes to get it perfect. but brands differ.

| I once was stupid enough to eat them half cooked. I couldn't be bothered waiting so i cooked them for a little then tipped them into a bowl. It was a culinary disaster. |

| Wow, you guys make them in the microwave and on the stove? Fantastic Noodles comes in it's own container. Just fill it up to the line with boiling water, close the lid, leave it for 2 minutes, and it's done.
2 minutes is enough to make the noodles perfect. Not all puffed up and overcooked, and not hard, but just the right consistancy. I once left it soaking for about 10 minutes to see what it would do, and it made them plump up too much. |

| I remember Mammee (spelt right???), noodles were all the rage at primary school, eating them straight out of the packet. I think they were actually marketed that way. And ive put my vote in for beef. And i'll be very interested in the pie poll. |

It's one of these newer (at least in my area) packs that comes with dried veggies and stronger seasonings. I had one a few months ago that was supposedly teriaky and it was horrid. The chicken flavored ones are usually a safe bet for me. |
