| Our very own Mrs. D. Our God is so wise. Isn't it amazing to think that everything that we are and everything that we will be was designed by Him before we were born? Our challenge is to find a way to use it all to His glory - the soft, fuzzy, wonderful stuff that happens to us, as well as the major challenges that we face.
Mrs. D. is facing the challenge of cancer, but she is determined that He will be glorified! We can all help her to ensure that He is glorified by praying for her and her family, and by offering encouragement to both her and Mara. more information
We believe in the power of prayer! The Ds have a very strong support system at home, but I would like for us to show her just how far CGR can reach with our prayer circle. Please pray, and then join the prayer circle by posting the general area where you live in.
I'll start: Mrs. D, Central California is praying for you, my friend! |

| I'll definitely be praying too.
My mother was diagnosed with colon cancer a little over a year ago (there's a prayer request thread here, sorely outdated and buried). The news can be crushing... but we were blessed by the support from many, many people. A number of people from our church body helped by doing 'little things', and there were innumerable people(many I didn't even know) praying.
After a heavy chemo/radiation scheme, she had a colonoscopy (to remove the scar tissue, as the tumor had already been destroyed -- that was very early this year), after some recovery, they put her back on several more months of chemo 'just to make sure'. So, she's been off the chemo for about... 3 months. So far as we know, she's cancer free; Lord willing, she'll stay that way.
So, that's a little update (and good news) on all that.
Mrs. D. -- Blessings as you as you find out about the diagnosis. I hope and pray it goes well. Just remember that you aren't alone in facing this, as even this thread goes to show.
I'll be praying for you!
-Tom

| You have our prayers from Louisiana also. Thank you, God, for making us a family on this earth to help us in our time of need and to share our burdens. |

| Ahoy. British Columbia is praying. If we can get Danalyn and Rhonda in here, that'll make Ontario and Prince Edward Island wearin' down their kneecaps too. Western, Central, and Eastern Canada.
We love you, Mrs. D. |
